Dear Students, Parents and Guardians, and Staff,
As we come to the close of another school year and prepare for the Christmas season, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to every member of our school community.
This year has been a particularly special one in the life of our school. We marked an historic milestone with the welcoming of male students to our school, and we are delighted to say that they have already made a very positive contribution to school life. Their presence has enriched our community, and we are proud of how warmly they have been welcomed by students and staff alike.
We have also celebrated our largest First Year student intake in more than twenty years, a powerful reflection of the growing confidence in our school and the strong sense of belonging that defines Stanhope. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and care shown every day by our staff, the support of parents and guardians, and the enthusiasm and kindness of our students.
To our students: thank you for your kindness, resilience, and spirit, you are at the heart of everything we do. To our parents and guardians: thank you for your ongoing support and partnership, it means more than words can express. To our staff: thank you for your dedication, care, and commitment, which continue to make our school a place of safety, learning, and belonging.
At this time of year, many traditions are celebrated across our community. Whether you are marking Christmas, Hanukkah, Eid, Diwali, or simply enjoying time with family and friends, this season reminds us all of the importance of community, compassion, reflection, and hope, values that lie at the heart of our school and are lived out daily in our classrooms, corridors, and conversations.
We wish you all a joyful and peaceful festive season, and a healthy, hopeful New Year. Thank you for being part of the Stanhope community. We look forward to continuing our journey together in the year ahead.
Warmest wishes,
Mr. J.O’Brien and Mr. Flynn
