Open Day/Evening Information

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This year we will organise two events for prospective students and their parents/guardians.

Event one – Friday 22nd September 11.00 a.m. – 1.55 p.m.

The first event will be for primary school students and their teachers to attend and will not be open to the general public or parents/guardians.

Students will have regular classes from 8.40-10.40 a.m.

From 10.40 onwards students will be involved in open day.

Event two – Tuesday 26th September 2.30–4.30 p.m. and from 5.30-7.30 p.m.

The second event is for everyone and as current parents of our students I would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to Stanhope Secondary School’s (St. Joseph’s) public open day which will take place Tuesday 26th September 2.30–4.30 p.m. and again from 5.30-7.30 p.m.

Our open day is an important showcase event. It is an opportunity for current and prospective parents and students to sample what our school has to offer. In addition to this, it is an opportunity to build relationships with our community and give a greater insight into what makes this school such a historic, successful and prestigious school.

To facilitate open day classes will finish at 12.50 p.m. on Tuesday 26th September, we encourage all students to get involved in assisting in what promises to be such a great event. I would ask all parents to encourage and support their daughters to get involved in our open days. I would hope that every student would be able to get involved. Students that cannot assist with open day should remain at home during the open day times.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to ask.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. J. O’Brien

Principal Stanhope Secondary School
