Dear Class and Graduates of 2023,
The long wait is almost at an end. On the eve of obtaining your results, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best of luck tomorrow. We know how diligently you worked during your time in Stanhope and we hope that you will be happy with your results. If you would like to obtain a paper copy of your results, this will be available from 10.00 a.m. in our school. Our staff are also available and we are here to support you on this momentous day.
I have outlined some of key information, dates, deadlines, times and useful helplines for your Leaving Certificate results

Leaving Certificate students 2023 CONGRATULATIONS!
You have completed the most difficult academic exam, probably in your lifetime. You may have questions about your results, appeals process, CAO offers, PLC offers or employment queries. Candidates
All Leaving Certificate candidates will have access to their provisional Leaving Certificate results on the Candidate Self Service Portal at 10.00am on Friday 25th August. Candidates can view their results and will also be able to save and/or print a Statement of Provisional Results.
At 12.00 noon Tuesday 29th candidates will see their marks including for each component.
Application to View Leaving Certificate Scripts – Online Application Opens: 5.00pm Tuesday 29th August and closes: 8.00pm Wednesday 30th August
The LCA application to view scripts will be via email. The same timeline will apply.
Viewing of Scripts Manually Marked Scripts Candidates will be assigned to one of two three-hour sessions on Saturday 2 September;
Application to Appeal LC Online Application and Payment Opens: 10.00am Sunday 3rd September Closes: 5.00pm Monday 4th September
Appeals Processes The facility to view examination scripts is provided free of charge. The fee to appeal a result is €40 per subject for Leaving Certificate and €15.50 per subject for Leaving Certificate Applied. The fee is refunded in the case of a successful appeal.
The SEC Candidate helpline will be available at 1800 111 135 or 1800 111 136 from 10.00am to 5.00pm from Friday 25th August to Monday 4th September including weekends.
Outside of these hours, queries may be e-mailed to Candidateportal@examinations.ie. This helpline is provided for queries relating to the Candidate Self Service Portal and the services provided through the portal.
