Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
As you may be aware, members of the ASTI have commenced industrial action. As the vast majority of our teaching staff are members of the ASTI, this action is likely to have an impact on some aspects of the day-to-day operation of the school.
Under the current ASTI directive, members are Not Cooperating with:
Croke Park Hours
Meetings held outside of normal school hours
Email and other forms of electronic communication
Phone communication
While teaching and learning will continue as normal, families may experience issues in responses to emails, phone calls and other communications. Some meetings, activities and events may also be affected by the industrial action.
To help us manage communications effectively, all meetings with parents/guardians will be by appointment only and must be arranged through the School Office. We kindly ask that parents do not call to the school expecting to meet staff without a prior appointment.
We will continue to keep families informed of any developments and of any arrangements required in relation to notified strike days, including Wednesday, 14 October 2026.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Yours sincerely,
Mr O’Brien
